Halo-lit letters

Dimensional letters that glow from behind, casting a soft halo on the mounting wall. The premium illuminated letter standard.

When halo-lit is the right call

If the sign will be seen primarily at dusk or night — and it needs to feel premium during the day — halo-lit is almost always the answer. It is the most deliberate-looking illuminated letter variant, because the light is implied rather than shouted.

The tradeoff: halo-lit letters are the least legible variant at long viewing distances in bright daylight. For drive-by signage on a busy road during the day, face-lit delivers more raw legibility.

What we build

Every halo-lit system we fabricate is a complete package: the letter returns, LED modules pre-wired and tested, standoffs, a power supply sized for the load, and a weather-rated junction box. Installation is a single visit for a licensed electrician plus our install crew.

Letter returns are 1.5mm-3mm aluminum or stainless, folded on a CNC brake. Faces are typically 3mm aluminum, matte-painted or powder-coated. For premium estate or winery work, we offer solid brass or stainless faces with aged finishes.

Illumination spec

We use high-density LED modules rated for 50,000+ hours, typically at 2700K or 3000K warm white for hospitality applications, 4000K neutral for commercial. Colour-matched signage is available in any RAL colour; RGB with WiFi control is supported for installations that want dynamic colour scenes.

Power supply is low-voltage (12V or 24V), UL-listed, installed in a weather-rated disconnect enclosure adjacent to the sign or recessed into the wall.
