A British Columbia studio making built light.
Brightest Sign is based in Kelowna, BC, designing and building illuminated signage for wineries, retail, and residential projects across the Okanagan Valley and the wider Pacific Northwest.
A sign is not decoration. It is the first and last thing a customer sees — a quiet argument, held at the edge of your building, about who you are.
That argument has to survive wind, rain, a BC winter, and a tourist season under dusk sun. It has to photograph. It has to match the wordmark on the wine label and the menu font in the dining room. And it has to still look like itself in twenty years.
We take that seriously. Every project starts with the site — the wall, the viewing distance, the other signs on the block — and ends with a piece of lit metal that does its job without announcing that it is doing it.
-
Engineering-first
We spec drivers, metal gauges, and acrylic tolerances like an architect — not like a print shop.
-
One standard, three markets
Wineries, retail, residential — same craft, different pace. A winery monument and a storefront sign are the same discipline at different scales.
-
BC-built for BC
We know the bylaws. We know the winter. We install with licensed crews and sign off electrical.
-
Patient process
We mock to scale before we cut. We'd rather spend a week in CAD than a year explaining why the kerning is off on a $30k install.
