Monument & pylon signs

Freestanding site signage. Stone monuments at winery entrances, illuminated pylons for commercial plazas, multi-tenant directories.

These are the largest pieces we make — permanent, grounded, bylaw-governed, and built to last the life of the property they identify.

Monument signs sit low to the ground. Built from cut stone, CMU, or steel-framed cladding with a stucco or metal finish. Typically 3 to 8 feet tall. Integrated illumination can be concealed (ground-wash spotlights, internal letter glow) or explicit (dimensional lit channel letters on the face).

Pylon signs go tall — 10 to 30 feet. Steel-framed with aluminum cladding. Used for retail centres, gas stations, office parks, and multi-tenant commercial properties. Face options include push-through lit letters, full-face light boxes, or fabricated channel letters on illuminated backing.

Wayfinding pylons are a scaled-down subset — 6 to 12 feet — used for campus wayfinding, resort directories, and commercial plaza navigation.

All exterior monument and pylon installations require engineering drawings, municipal permits, and site-specific footing calculations. We manage this process end-to-end.
