Fabricated metal letters
Solid metal letterforms — stainless, brass, powder-coat. Non-illuminated identity for interiors, lobbies, estate gates, and editorial signage.
Metal letters without illumination are a specific choice. Used in lobbies, interior donor walls, estate gates, monument signs in daylight-dominant environments, or as the metal-face half of a back-lit channel letter system.
Two construction methods:
- Cutting finish — laser-cut or waterjet-cut from a single sheet, thickness 3mm to 10mm. Flat silhouette. Lowest cost, cleanest lines.
- Fabricated / built-up — letter returns fabricated from 1.5mm stainless, with a formed face. Depth of 50mm to 200mm. Sculptural; used where the letter itself should feel like a piece of architecture.
Finishes include brushed stainless, polished chrome, matte or gloss powder-coat in any RAL colour, brass (raw, aged, or sealed), and rose-gold PVD. For exterior installations we recommend 304 stainless minimum; coastal installations (Vancouver Island) use 316.
