Single-sided light box
Flush-mounted illuminated panel with acrylic face and metal frame. Standard storefront and interior brand panel format.
A light box is an even, edge-to-edge illuminated surface in a frame. Built right, it produces a uniform glow with no visible hot spots and no dead corners.
The core engineering problem is optical — the LED array inside the box needs to distribute light so that the face reads as uniformly bright across every square inch. We use calibrated LED spacing, diffusing film, and reflective interior cladding to solve this.
Face options
- Printed acrylic — UV-printed graphics on a backlit-grade acrylic panel. Can be opaque-blockout background with translucent letters, or reverse-printed for vivid colour.
- Routed acrylic — letters and shapes routed through a thicker opaque acrylic face, with translucent acrylic behind. Produces the push-through look in a flat format.
- Dimensional overlay — raised acrylic or metal letters bonded to the face. Half-light-box, half-channel-letter hybrid.
Frame
Aluminum extrusion, 50mm to 300mm deep depending on face size and illumination requirements. Trim caps in painted aluminum, brushed stainless, or anodized finishes to match architectural context.
Typical applications
- Retail storefront brand panels
- Menu boards (interior and exterior)
